Upcoming Easter Fireside
Founded in 2025 by youth, for youth, Zion’s Symphony was created to bring together young musicians with a love of faith and sacred music. We serve Portland-area youth from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and friends, fostering a vibrant musical community through inspiring youth orchestra performances of orchestral hymns.
- To elevate every note of sacred music in honor of Jesus Christ.
- To help youth grow as musicians, disciples, and friends within a vibrant youth orchestra.
- To create a supportive musical community where every young musician is welcome.
- Faith First: We play sacred music to glorify God.
- Excellence: In our musical community, we practice, learn, and improve together.
- Friendship: Everyone belongs in our youth orchestra.
“For my soul delighteth in the song of the heart; yea, the song of the righteous is a prayer unto me, and it shall be answered with a blessing upon their heads.” —D&C 25:12

Hi, I'm Mia Brosemann. I am the interim director for Zion's Symphony. I've been a musician my whole life, focusing mainly on trumpet, then branching to a few other instruments as I got older. I love playing jazz and Christmas duets with my son Jacob. I am currently the Kaiser Woods Ward Choir Director, and I find joy in leading groups to perform holy music.
I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ "delight in the song of the heart", and that we can grow closer to them and feel the Spirit strongly as we study and perform sacred music in reverence towards Them. I love watching the youth as they pour their hearts out to Him while performing hymns.

Hi everyone! I'm Jacob Brosemann. I've been playing the trumpet for 4 years and have participated in multiple advanced senior ensembles throughout my musical journey. Along with this, I am a 4th-year BSD Honor Band 1st trumpet. I love performing sacred music with my family at events and playing classical and jazz pieces together.
I've seen the influence that God has had on me throughout my life, and I'm now in a position where I can undeniably say that I know His son, Jesus Christ, died and paid for my sins, that I might live with them again in Heaven. My goal in forming this musical community is to show my love and appreciation for Christ's ultimate sacrifice and help bring others unto Him, especially through our youth orchestra.

Hey there! I'm Anneliese Cluff, and I have been playing and performing the violin for over 8 years now. I love Classical, Latin, and Scottish music, and even once won first place at the Portland Highland Games youth fiddle contest. My favorite places to perform would be in church meetings and retirement homes.
I’m grateful for the influence for good that sacred music has had on my life. I know of a surety of the reality of Jesus Christ and His perfect Atonement, and I hope to continue to grow in the Gospel and give my life to Him.

Hi, my name is Seth Wilde, and I am a high-school tuba player with many years played on my instrument (6 years). I have participated in multitudes of ensembles ranging from small quartets to a state championship winning wind ensemble. Among this, solo performances too. I am very glad to use my skills to participate in the Zion's (youth) Symphony and to play music that brings such a sweet spirit to any room.

Hi, I'm Anna Hampton. I've been playing the violin for six years. I’ve been able to play the violin in many different settings including participating in local jams, a fiddle competition, and workshops.
I love playing the violin and love it even more when I’m playing with others.
I’ve found that music focusing on Jesus Christ brings joy into my life.
I know that as we play music that focuses on Him we draw closer to Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.
I love them.

Hello, I'm Isaac Anderson. I've been playing percussion for almost 7 years and I totally love it. I am a senior at Southridge Highschool. I've done marching band for three years and winter percussion for two. I performed with our wind ensemble at the state festival. I performed a rudimental snare solo the last two years at the district festival. I also have played drumset for three school musicals and many many basketball games.
Zion Symphony has been a great opportunity for me to meet people in the area who are my age and who love the savior. I also love being able to play some of my favorite hymns and church songs.

Hi, I'm Piper Ence and I love music! I've been playing the trumpet for 6 years. I'm in marching band, jazz band, and wind ensemble. I have also participated in many honor bands such as Music in May, the PSU honor band, and the BSD honor band. Music has always made me happy, I love the feeling of working together in a group to make something beautiful. The hymns have always been a way for me to share my testimony and grow closer to Christ. I'm glad to have opportunities to share my love for music and my love for Jesus!

Natalie Rae is 12 years old and has played the violin for three years. She is the oldest of five children and lives on a family farm. She enjoys making music and being part of the orchestra.
